Welcome to Luxstitcht.

My name is Elroy Shum. I grew up in the sunny Hawkes Bay with my parents and two brothers. I went to school at St Marys Catholic school before I made my way to the big smoke in Auckland where I continued my schooling at Sacred Heart College until I was 16 years old.

I started my upholstery career in 1994 where a friends father at the time took me on as an apprentice where I learnt my skills but not before I learnt how to sweep the workshop floor.

I have since branched out from furniture to now specialising in bespoke automotive and marine upholstery where I now have my own workshop in Papakura, Auckland.
